About the wine

Tasting notes

Deep brick red. Utterly superb wine with intense perfumed meaty/demi-glace/rose-petal/apricot/chamomile aromas.Rich chocolaty/meaty/apricot/demi-glace fruit underlying wood-spiced notes and sweet, ripe, velvety tannins. A chalky firm but elongated flavourful finish. This is a perfectly composed, beautifully structured Grange. A very great wine.

Shiraz or Syrah

Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
