A very expressive and perfumed nose of rose, lavender, mint, red cherry and spice leads the way to a mouthful of intense, pure red berries, blood orange zest, sage, licorice and underbrush. Lively acidity and brushed with tannins, it crunches with texture and cleans the palate nicely.

Often referred to as the king of red grapes, Nebbiolo is responsible for some of the greatest wines in the world. The regions of Barbaresco and Barolo, in Piedmont, Italy, create the most revered expressions of the variety and have set the benchmarks for the world over. Nebbiolo is quite light in colour, dry and delicate but packs a punch in aroma and flavour with notes of rose, tar, cherry, red berries, blood orange, licorice, leather, terracotta and earthy herbals. These wines have high acidity and high tannins, making them extremely age worthy that deepen in complexity over decades. Simply stunning wines!
