The nose it's quite savoury, floral and herbaceous. Think red and black fruit, pepper, bay leaf and pine, with citrus zest and roast meat. A little green. In the mouth it's dry, zingy and grips with tension and tightness, driven by a core of dark fruit and coloured savoury with negroni-like herbals and black tea. It's firm and shines brightly with natural acidity. A unique and interesting take on Eden Valley Shiraz
Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
