Aromas of nectarine and lemon butter have a dried honey overlay followed by hints of biscuity oak and a whiff of gun flint. Rich ripe pear, nectarine and dried honey flavours create a creamy mouthfeel with subtle nuances of biscuity oak, cashew and spicy nougat lying underneath.

"A little cloudy, but fine. Has a Japanese ginger thing over white peach, green pear, and yuzu. Saline and quite umami, lemon zest and white pepper, an almond cream flavour cut with tangy citrus acidity, fine dusty texture, and a salted oatmeal finish offering a little tingle, and good length. Quirky, but good."
One of the most planted, versatile and popular white varieties in the world. As a stand alone grape, Chardonnay is not the most interesting, nor complex varietal out there...but in the hands of a great winemaker it can be turned into one of the world's greatest pleasures! From the best bubbles of Champagne, to the lean, unoaked and mineral expressions of Chablis and the opulent, oaked and complex whites of Burgundy, Chardonnay is responsible for making some of the greatest expressions of white wine on the planet.
