A pure, cold stone element hits you first. Highly aromatic and very pretty, stone fruits and mild touches of something more tropical. It’s zesty and lifted, with fleshy yellow fruits building in the glass. In the mouth it’s all sinew and racy energy. The fruit is perfectly restrained, slightly pithy and definitely a bit savoury. It’s hung on a lovely, long acid line that races down the palate leaving a chalky texture in its wake.

A crisp, textural and beautifully expressive white wine that grows in almost every wine growing country across the world. In the hands of a great winemaker, Sauvignon Blanc can rival the very best white wines of the world with its complex aromas and flavours that you won't find in other white varieties. The expressions from Sancerre and Bordeaux set the benchmark the world over, using oak as a medium for body and spice, and in great Sauvignon Blanc you'll find notes of white florals, gentle herbals, creme fraiche, cassis, melon, complex citrus, pear, gooseberry, vanilla, cashew and hints of passionfruit.
