Tasting notes
Made from 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. One of the best vintages in recent times. Ripe cassis and berry flavours, dried rose, tobacco, cocoa and baking spices. It’s medium-bodied, tightly bound by firm tannins and mineral acidity. This wine represents elegance on a grand scale and is on one of the best vintage I've tasted. It has plushness and power with great potential. Drink: 2021-2039

Bordeaux Blends are made up of a combination of traditional grapes found in the region of Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are the dominant varieties used in these blends, but you'll also find Petit Verdot, Malbec, Carménère and other supporting grapes. The firm, structured and tannic Left Bank Bordeaux reds are typically Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, whereas the more juicy, lush and approachable Right Bank Bordeaux reds have Merlot as their primary grape. These wines are some of the world's greatest expressions and have been made to last decades!
