About the wine

Tasting notes

Colour:Dark purple verging on black, with solid core with a violet rim.Aroma:Intense aromatics of Black pepper, black currant and cassis. layered with Chinese five-spice, toffee, clove and black olive. Subtle wafts of freshly sharpened grey lead pencil.Palate:Saturated blueberry and blackberry flavours awash the surfaces of the mouth. Vibrant Coonawarra Cabernet acidity give focus and tension. With dusty fruit/oak tannins giving further texture. A wine that will build over the next decade
