The baby Coleraine, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc is deep and dark with aromas of ripe red currant, mulberries, dusty cedar, tobacco and spicy dried herb. In the mouth it's medium bodied, fine and very elegant with flavours that echo the nose. Plenty of structure with dry, gently chalky tannins and bright acidity. Incredible bang for your buck and has just entered its prime drinking window.

Bordeaux Blends are made up of a combination of traditional grapes found in the region of Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are the dominant varieties used in these blends, but you'll also find Petit Verdot, Malbec, Carménère and other supporting grapes. The firm, structured and tannic Left Bank Bordeaux reds are typically Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, whereas the more juicy, lush and approachable Right Bank Bordeaux reds have Merlot as their primary grape. These wines are some of the world's greatest expressions and have been made to last decades!
